Market Update: Sensex is down 219.25 points or 0.57% at 38146.10, and the Nifty shed 64.10 points or 0.57% at 11253.30. Asian Paints, Nestle India, Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel are the top gainers while ONGC and State Bank of India are down over 3 percent each.

Among the sectors, the banking index is down close to 2 percent while the midcap and smallcap indices shed over a percent each.
